Purchasing the JR Wide Pass through Trip.com is incredibly convenient. Previously, with other platforms, I had to go to the airport to pick up and exchange the pass, but now I can exchange it electronically and simply show my email address upon arrival in Japan. On the first day, I was able to ride the Shinkansen to Echigo-Yuzawa for free!★

An incredible balance of culture and nature. The Toshogu Shrine is visually stunning with its intricate gold details, and the Kegon Waterfall offers a powerful, scenic contrast. Despite visiting both, the day felt perfectly paced and never rushed. A must-do escape from Tokyo!★
