Reviews: NYC: Express Highlights Tour of the MET Museum
Guest User2025-11-23
Our guide, Charlie, was so engaging throughout. He had vast knowledge about art and the lives of the artists and techniques the artists employed in their works. He was so kind to walk us to a restaurant after we'd had difficulty with filling out this review! My phone failed me and he tried to redo the process of submitting this review but we never could figure it out. So this is a much easier attempt to give Charlie credit for a truly memorable tour. I especially appreciated his explanation of why the Met gets to keep all its Egyptian artifacts/temples, etc. He took the time to photograph every couple or person in our group during the tour. He went way beyond what a tour guide would do. His voice was clear and strong--very important as "we age--we are 84 and 86--so very easy to hear him. He was a very experienced guide and we appreciated his superior knowledge for the tour. Thanks Charlie! You were awesome!
