Reviews: Yehliu Geopark + Jiufen + Shifen Waterfall + Shifen Old Street shared transfer 1-day tour - Departing from Ximending

In short, it was a truly unique and moving tour. It was by far the best wedding anniversary trip I've ever taken. Thank you so much, Chin. After comparing three tours, I decided to take this Japanese tour. It had the earliest meeting time of the three, but we were able to return at 5:30 PM. We even made it in time for dinner at our hotel in Taipei. It was also great that they could store our suitcases on the bus. We didn't meet the minimum number of participants, so we ended up taking the English tour. Our tour guide, Chin, was fantastic! We really appreciate his help. We originally thought of it as just a means of transportation, so English wasn't a problem, but Chin's careful explanations in both English and Japanese made the tour enjoyable for my husband and I. His smile, thorough explanations, willingness to take photos, and hospitality... Chin is more Japanese than most Japanese people, and we're so grateful. The tour was also perfectly organized. Even though it was a bus tour, it ran on time, like a Japanese train, even on a packed weekend, which was miraculous. First, the scenery of Yehliu. He provided accurate sightseeing advice and photo support. We had an efficient sightseeing trip and took some commemorative couple photos. (Admission to Yehliu Park costs about HK$120, but even if you don't purchase tickets in advance, Ms. Ching will help you, so you won't waste time buying tickets.) Next, we went to Jiufen. Since we arrived in the morning, we were able to skip the long line at Amei Teahouse (which we missed last time) without a reservation. We then had a lunch of xiaolongbao and braised pork rice at a recommended restaurant. We were also very satisfied, as we were able to buy the Dongding Oolong, Gao Shan Oolong, and Black Oolong teas we wanted. Of course, we also enjoyed the view. We took a backstreet to Amei Teahouse, and on the way back, we shopped along the main street, Jishan Street. (Due to traffic restrictions, the bus can't go up the hill until just before the bus, so we took a five-minute bus ride from the bus parking lot. It costs NT$15 round trip, so it's convenient to have an EasyCard.) And it was worth it. For HK$250, we were able to give away four-colored lanterns. Finally, we saw the spectacular waterfall before heading back to Taipei. Although there was an 85% chance of rain, we only got caught on rain at the final Ten-Jubu Falls (which were incredibly impressive thanks to the rain). Chin-san must be a lucky charm for the sun. (^^) Chin-san lent his umbrella to a group of participants who didn't have their own. It was a little surprise for me, too, on our wedding anniversary! It was such a unique and moving tour that I want to take it again just to meet such a kind-hearted Chin-san.

I made a reservation the day before departure and used it well. I bought an Easy Card + 200 TWD charged card and an Airport Railroad round-trip token included and used it very well. I had a great time during my first trip to Taiwan with my mom. I used the Easy Card well at the subway, convenience store, cafe, and airport restaurant.
