The small airboat is well worth it! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the swamp and gators. The Oak Ally plantation was absolutely beautiful. It was enlightening and very moving to visit a place where people were bought, sold, enslaved and treated as property.

Great, I had the wrong hotel, and the shuttle came to pick us up, which was very nice. We changed vehicles several times because they weren't going to the same tours as us. The tours were great, and we had plenty of time on site to enjoy the two places we visited: Oak Alley and a swamp tour where we even got to hold a baby alligator.

Had such a great experience on our trip. We had enough time to soak in all of the facts and information at the plantation, as well as enjoy the airboat tour afterwards. There was a discrepancy with my booking at the airboat tour, but this was all sorted between the front desk and our driver. I thoroughly enjoyed this excursion and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans. 5 stars!


