Reviews: Swamp Boat Ride and Oak Alley Plantation Tour from New Orleans

We really enjoyed this tour! Our driver was great and she was able to manuever the bus in some really tough areas making it look easy. The bus was extremely clean. Our tour guide Robert was phenominal. He has a wealth of knowledge about Louisiana history, land and people, not to mention about New Orleans and the plantations in the area and kept us informed the entire trip. We really enjoyed Oak Alley Plantation and the time allotted was perfect. The swamp boat ride was very nice as well and we got to see several gators, which our guide said was surprising because it is the time of year when they are not as active. There were several raccoons and regrets as well. We highly recommend this tour.★

Captain Jamie was knowledgeable and definitely got the rules across in an entertaining way. We were thrilled to see wildlife, mostly alligators, but also owls, great blue cranes and bald eagles. This tour is shorter than many, so it fit into our schedule better, and it was time well spent. A fun way to see the bayou!★

Fantastic experience, the tour was fun and our host DJ was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.
Great pubs visited, great stories told to us and lots of laughs had by all.
5 star would recommend to anyone, we will be going again when we next visit.★
