We were able to see the whales but I think we were expecting to see them closer. We basically saw them from the same distance as when we went to Zamami island in a ferry.

The trip was convenient and well-organized. We took the standard tour without swimming with the turtles (they were no longer available). The information was very clear, explaining where everything was and when. Everything was on time: we met at the pier, swam to the island, and then the bus assigned us to our chosen destinations. The return trip was the same. In our case, there were sun loungers, towels, and equipment available for rent at the beach (we brought masks but didn't see anything). There are a lot of reefs offshore, so be careful when entering. Overall, we were happy with everything. We were the only Russian speakers there that day, and I don't know how we would have gotten there, so I highly recommend it – it's convenient!


