Finally, it was my turn to have my Hanfu photoshoot at Yu Garden! (I'd already taken photos in all the ancient towns around Shanghai, but never in Shanghai itself – a bit of a waste of time, haha!) The shop had so many packages to choose from, it was overwhelming on my tablet! I finally picked a traditional opera-themed set. The makeup and styling were exquisite and beautiful, the photoshoot was quick and great, and I got the retouched photos on the spot – I was extremely satisfied.

It's a good experience, do come with an hour in advance for make up and come with empty stomach because it's a LOT of food
