We were looking for a slightly different tour and this proved perfect
Travelling by train, bus and shared cabs we explored southern Mumbai taking in a variety of produce markets, bazaars, the Dohbi Ghat and finishing with the Dabbawala
A good tour always needs a good guide and Rishi was excellent
Moreover the tour operator - Reality Gives - is an NGO supporting education in Mumbai’s slum community - so you felt your tourist pounds were going to a very worthwhile cause★

The lunch buffet has a wide variety of cuisines from Chinese to Western. Good food quality. The panoramic view from the revolving restaurant is impressive.★

Just do it! Totally recommend it. The local guide was from Dharavi and gave us great insight into the community, construction, living and operations. The place was a real eye opener but totally loved it.
The laundry tour had us walking around the wash bays, machines and houses.
Lunch boxes are a great cultural aspect of Mumbai
Movies to now watch - The Lunchbox and of course Slum Dog Millionaire again.
