eSIM is very convenient to use. It's pre-installed in Thailand by pressing a button in the Trip app. It works with my iPhone 14 Pro. Once I arrive in Japan, I just turn it on and it's ready to go. The speed is decent, although it might load a bit slow in crowded areas. It's very cheap; a 7-day, 10GB plan costs 150 baht. You can check your usage through the Trip app.★
