There is no way to say enough about this amazing experience. Damian is an insightful historian and a talented teacher. He has clearly spent a great deal of time accumulating his knowledge of architecture, language, and history. He has put the story together in a way that is easy to understand as it comes to life. We learned SO much and the time flew by. We were also impressed by the way Damian thought about his guests’ comfort. He utilized many opportunities along his route to stop in the shade, cool off with some air conditioning, and refill your water. This was a perfect morning. Thank you, Damian!! My husband an I ended up having a private tour, as we were the only ones because it was a rainy day.
Janinha was on time. She was very enthusiastic and professional regardless of the weather.
She knew a lot about Art Deco style and the history of the area and some celebrities.
We visited some of the buildings in the inside and she recommended us some places to visit for happy hour.
