Escaping the 42°C heat of Marrakesh for the Ourika Valley in the Atlas Mountains is a fantastic day trip. The mountain air feels like a massive relief. The day begins in Setti Fadma with a solid 25-minute trek over massive boulders to hidden waterfalls. It is a strenuous workout that guarantees plenty of sweat, but the views and crisp air are entirely worth the effort. Afterwards, a traditional Moroccan tajine at a riverside restaurant is the perfect reward. The best part is sitting on the bank and dipping tired feet into the freezing cold water for instant relief. To wrap up, a visit to a local organic shop shows how eco-friendly essential oils, spices, and herbal teas are made. It is fascinating to discover that genuine argan oil doubles as a flavorful cooking oil. Combined with tastings of fragrant orange blossom honey and artisanal almond-pistachio butter, the amazing aromas make it easy to forget about taking photos and simply enjoy buying authentic scents to bring back home.

We really enjoyed the tour; it was full and interesting. We didn't expect so much for the price. Firstly, the minibuses were comfortable, and the driver was very friendly, always waiting and accommodating. We were taken on interesting routes; we were with a small group. With a guide, we walked along an ecological trail past beautiful landscapes and waterfalls and visited a Berber village. The guide gave an interesting and accessible account for foreigners. We had a delicious lunch in a quiet and pleasant place. We were very pleased. We especially enjoyed the camel ride. We were surprised that there was no extra charge, only an optional tip. It was pleasant and comfortable.

Had a fantastic experience , especially the boys . Our guide Douja was simple fabulous -she was really attentive to every one I our group, right down to languages , made sure we had the best seat for the shows and best experience form all activities involved .  Over all great start out time in  Morocco.

It was truly an experience I'll never be able to have again! The staff were so friendly, and honestly, I was really scared since it was my first time, but they encouraged me and told me not to be afraid! They even took beautiful photos for me. They are the best!
