The cooking class with Wayan was one of the best experiences of my trip. The transfer went smoothly, and Wayan first took me to the traditional market, where I was able to buy fresh vegetables, spices, and other ingredients. He explained a lot about Balinese cuisine and everyday life. We then drove to the cooking location, beautifully situated among rice fields and lovingly run by his family. Before we started cooking, I was able to make my own offering – a wonderful insight into the local culture. Under Wayan's humorous and patient guidance, I prepared seven dishes together with the other participants, including satay skewers, nasi goreng, and dadar gulung. Everything was fresh, clean, and perfectly organized. After the meal, Wayan even arranged drivers to bring us back safely. An authentic, warm, and unforgettable experience – highly recommended!

Amazing experience 🔥 The team of Family Trips Bali guided us through all the questions before and during the trip, made sure we had a safe and exciting day Even though it was raining, we had a great time and reached all the spots we wanted All the equipment is in good condition as well as the boat. The team makes photos and videos during snorkeling time and shares the results in minutes after the trip is over And all for a fair price!

Absolutely loved this experience. We booked the 3 hour class, and we turned up late because of traffic but they were very welcoming and explained all the steps necessary to start making batik. Everyone was lovely and helpful, we never made batik before but they will help you all the way if you’re struggling. It was a relaxing experience and we loved going through the processes and finally seeing our own creation came to life. Totally recommended.

Three of us went to the Batik class today (Mum, Dad and daughter 9yrs old). The tutors couldn’t have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were shown the process, given practice materials and then we started our own creation (templates available). We have come away with 3 pieces we are really happy with, the tutors really help to make sure you make something worthwhile. Our daughter would go back tomorrow, and probably the next day too! A great way to spend relaxing time in Bali. Highly recommend it.


