A tour of Haleakala is a must when visiting Maui. It's no wonder this volcano is sacred to the Hawaiians. The view above the clouds at over 3,000 meters is unique. On our tour, we were able to witness not only the sunset but also the 'rising' of the stars, which was truly magnificent due to the lack of light pollution in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Martin★

Dindo (?) was a great guide, friendly and knowledgeable. We made it safely to Haleakala, and the weather was great (but windy, do bring extra layers)! We had a great lunch and went to a distillery for a tour (I’m not a drinker, but it was okay). Then we went to a state park (iao?), which was also beautiful! It’s a long day and expensive, but I’d say it’s worth it. Thank you!★

Our tour guide was fantastic—well-informed, knowledgeable about the tour, and provided warm hospitality. The breakfast was also great. However, the only downside was that when we made our reservation, we specified a pickup location, but the Polynesian tour company changed it to a spot 11 kilometers away from our hotel without prior agreement. As a result, my partner and I had to pay $100 for a taxi since Uber wasn’t available at 3:00 AM. If you’re booking a tour, be sure to confirm and request a more convenient pickup location to avoid unexpected costs.★

We had a super fun day! Our guide, Daniel, was so funny and also very helpful. The bikes were high quality and safe. I am not an avid bike rider, so I was a bit a nervous to do this, but it was a great experience.
