This isn't the first time I've bought an eSIM for Thailand here. Overall, everything is fine. I activated the eSIM in advance. Upon arrival, I transferred my mobile data to this SIM card. My phone showed strong 5G reception, but there was no internet. I re-entered the APN, but that didn't help, and I rebooted the phone several times. Actually, there were no problems; I just had to wait a little while. Internet was back up in about 30 minutes without any settings changes.

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.
