I use it every time I'm in Thailand. You can extend the SIM card's validity - top up the account (for example, with a bank card through the app, or in cash at a 7-Eleven, or at AIS office) and use the internet packages available on the AIS website.

Bangkok and Phuket sibeh crowded, sometimes the Wi-Fi will spin like sotong kena goreng. But if go ulu places with fewer people, the connection damn fast one.

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.


