We booked tickets for Jiulong Lake through Ctrip, and the price was quite reasonable. We were two families with children, a total of six people traveling together. We stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel in downtown Ningbo, about 18 kilometers from the scenic area, allowing us to experience both the city's nightlife and the beautiful scenery. Jiulong Lake is an artificial lake, and the scenic area is quite large, but since we traveled in June, it was still a bit hot, although the air was very fresh. Overall, it was a great vacation choice.

We are from Singapore, and the luckiest thing about our trip to the Jinshanling Great Wall in Beijing was meeting our driver, Mr. Dong Xuefei. The journey was long, but he drove incredibly smoothly, making us feel very safe. What touched us most was that he thoughtfully prepared snacks for us in case we got hungry. He also had a small insulated box in the car to keep our cold drinks warm, as well as phone chargers. Because the sunset was so beautiful, we lingered there, and Mr. Dong waited patiently without complaint. Dedicated and kind, highly recommended! We are from Singapore. We were so lucky to have Mr. Dong Xuefei as our driver for the Jinshanling Great Wall trip. The journey was long, but he drove very smoothly and made us feel safe. He even prepared snacks in case we got hungry—such a thoughtful touch. We were also surprised that he also prepared a mini fridge to keep our cold beverages as well as multiple phone chargers… The sunset was stunning, and we ended up staying late, yet Mr. Dong waited patiently. Professional, kind, and highly recommended!

Cannot recommend this more! Sunset was excellent and having plenty of time to explore the wall between drop off and pickup allowed us to see unrefined parts of the wall. Jackie was super flexible, allowing us to grab some food after the hike and taking us back to Beijing once we were ready. Just book it already.

We asked to be picked up at 6 am, and the driver was on time. Communication was easy through a translator, and the driver was very responsive on WeChat.
