It was a good tour. However, we needed more explanations for the giant Buddha. We divided in two groups, one taking the boat and one doing a short hike to see the Buddha. The first one had to wait for the secons group for almost one extra hour, as this was not clearly communicated. We took the boat trip and the view was nice.

Overall, it is not bad. The Wulingyuan District, the hotel where Zhangjiajie lives, has a very good location. It is very convenient to go to Zhangjiajie Park, which is much more convenient than living in the city. But what I want to say is that Zhangjiajie tourism industry is overdeveloped. Citizens rely on tourism and surrounding industries to live for a living. It is not very friendly, especially the hotel we stayed in. The "Black Brother Barbecue Shop" opposite the "Zhangjiajie Jinhua Hotel" is very dark, as its name suggests. The profiteers are arrogant and unreasonable to raise the market price. On the whole, the citizens of Zhangjiajie who have encountered them are generally rude and unfriendly. So all the travel friends who go to Zhangjiajie remind everyone to do more homework before going, otherwise *** cheated and didn't even have a good mood. In contrast, the people of Phoenix are very friendly and worth recommending!
