The driver and leader Thomas was very responsible. He emailed us two days in advance to wait in the hotel lobby at 7:00 in the morning and asked if we needed to prepare lunch boxes. The car arrived 5 minutes in advance on the day of departure. A van full of eight of our tourists arrived at the destination smoothly. Thomas handed us over to the English guide at Auschwitz and told us to go to the bathroom first, where there are fewer people, and then we followed the tour guide to the attraction. Set aside 15 minutes at noon, everyone returns to the car to eat, and then continue to visit the second camp. For people who like history, this is a visit with a deep experience.  The return trip was also very smooth, and it was sent directly back to the hotel. ★

The day trip was excellent but be aware this is quite full on with nearly 800 steps to walk down in one go on the salt mine and a few more up and down once you're down there (you get the lift back up) and quite a bit of walking around Auschwitz, across the two sites. As a family we are relatively fit but I have to say by the end of the day we were feeling it! Transport and drivers were excellent, both with the minibus transfer and coach. Our guides, both at Salt Mine and Auschwitz were very informative. Auschwitz is a difficult trip, and you think you are prepared for what you will see and hear, but you won't be, however it is important that we all remember. My main tips, take plenty to drink and very comfy shoes!
