I loaded a data-only Trip.com eSim prior to leaving Australia and used it during a 5 day business trip to Singapore. As promised it did not activate until I had landed and logged onto the local network. Everyone uses WhatsApp in Asia so voice comms were easy. Trip.com has an incredible variety of eSims to choose from and is a very simple service to use. No dashboards, no compliacetd logons, it just works.★

Our tour guide, Xiao Chen, was lovely and wonderful! There were more places to eat than we expected, and fresh coconuts were available for purchase. The mountain road was a bit bumpy, but that was unavoidable given the environment. There was also a free farm where we could feed the animals, which were very cute. The staff on the boats to see the monkeys and fireflies were all very cheerful. It was a very worthwhile trip!★

It was good overall and I needed for some assistance to turn on the e sim but the support was quick. The internet is stable but sometimes I saw “e” which is “edge” and I couldn’t use the internet at those times. Idk what it happened, but luckily i was next to my hotel when that happened
