Pick up is located at Phuket International Airport, turn right after clearing luggage checks. Internet worked very well throughout my stay , speed was stable at the beaches and also in phuket towns. I think the deal on trip.com is better than the deals you get over the counter . Google it just to be sure !

I bought this e sim for 15 days. Easily to use, i only bought 2 gb/daily, was enough to check map, send msg & use sns. Sometimes the connection was lost so need to airplane mode on & off! But it was totally fine no issues.

A local SIM card is one of the most useful things to have when traveling in Thailand. Even with Wi-Fi in hotels and some establishments, mobile data is always needed for Grab, maps, translation, bookings, and communication. We would recommend getting a package with a good amount of data, especially if you frequently use maps, watch videos, or move around the city. An extra gigabyte will definitely be more useful than having no connection when you need it. Another big plus is that with the data plan, you get a Thai phone number. This can be useful for orders, app registration, deliveries, and other situations where a local number is needed.

I used an eSIM for the first time and had some concerns, but I needn't have. I activated it in Phuket using free WiFi and forgot about any connection issues. Everything worked fine everywhere, including two beaches and the center of the island, and coverage was excellent everywhere. I didn't bother turning on outgoing calls and text messages—I never needed them; I communicated with everyone through calls and messaging apps.
