The eSim worked well in Thailand. We travelled to Bangkok, Phuket and Phi Phi Islands and we did not face any network issues. I could connect to the internet through the data sim once we landed in Thailand. Incoming phone calls to the SIM number were also available. Outgoing calls and SMS were not enabled and it said that needed identity verification. We did not need those functions.

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.
