Had a great time riding snowmobile on the lake. Guide was great with fun facts about Aurora and local fauna. We didnt end up seeing the Aurora that night, but it was still great time.

Our tour to Jukkasjärvi and the Icehotel with Anita was an absolute highlight. From the very beginning, Anita was incredibly warm and hospitable, and she generously shared her knowledge about her culture and heritage as part of the Sámi people. Her storytelling made the experience feel personal and meaningful. We visited the church and the museum, where we learned about Sámi traditions, history, and ways of life, which added real depth to the day. Feeding the reindeer was a special and memorable moment, and the visit to the Icehotel was simply breathtaking. The artworks carved entirely out of ice were spectacular—true masterpieces. A beautifully balanced tour combining culture, nature, and art, made unforgettable by Anita’s passion and openness. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a deeper understanding of the region and its people.

It was super fun to try something completely new. We were allowed to drill the holes in the ice ourselves and the guide gave us a little extra time because we left a little later than expected. Unfortunately we didn't catch any fish but we could see a few swimming around our hook as the water was crystal clear.


