Worth the money, travelled in a small group with a van though a van isn’t that comfortable but it was fun. Charyn Canyon was spectacular. Our guide Zhandos is helpful. The tour starts at 5.30am and back to Almaty around 9.00pm a long day, make sure you bring your own breakfast. The breakfast stop was packed with people and nothing much to eat. Also drinking and eating are not allowed on the van.

We visited 5 attractions to visit in a say day but the trip was very well thought out hence it didn’t feel rushed at all. Van was clean and comfortable, and driver is very experienced as well. Local lunch was a spread, we left with a full tummy. My guide, Aidar, is friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and a great storyteller.
