1. Our guide: We were lucky to have Alperen who specializes in Greek and Roman periods and shared absolutely captivating stories and many interesting facts about Anatolia and modern Turkey. Alperen is very nice, he got in touch before the start of the tour, and made sure we have all the information we need. It was great talking to him, he accompanied us everywhere, gave recommendations, answered all the questions.
2. Pamukkale: the formations, shapes, and colors are absolutely stunning. It’s even more beautiful than on the photos! The Cleopatra pool was closed when we were there but no problem, you can walk and bathe in the multiple water bassins. Bring your bathing suit if you want to do it. The water temperature goes from luke warm to fresh and slightly hot. The views at the surrounding valley and mountains are absolutely magnificent.
3. Hierapolis: We started our tour with visiting the ancient city of Hierapolis. We loved the theatre and the Plutonium (Pluto’s Gate), so impressive!
4. The tour: The tour is well structured, we had enough time for enjoying Pamukkale on our own and we also loved the guided part of the tour thanks to our guide. The lunch was included, it was a buffet in a big comfortable place, the food selection was extensive, it was easy to find something you like, good quantity.
5. Transportation: The bus is very comfortable, it has AC and outlets to charge. A very good driver. We took the highway, so the roads were good, beautiful landscapes. We hardly noticed the time passing.
Highly recommend this tour when you are in Izmir and the region. It’s fun, you see a lot, learn a lot, and it’s absolutely enjoyable.★

Each explanation was clear, engaging, and rich in detail, bringing the monuments to life before our eyes.
Cemal didn't just provide us with historical information; he also expertly intertwined anecdotes, curiosities, and cultural references, making the tour unique and never boring. He also expertly guided us to other places of great interest, such as the Basilica of St. John and the House of the Virgin Mary, carefully organizing our time to allow us to appreciate everything without rushing.
