We were glad to book thiis attraction with trip.com. The local contracted Elephant Tour is very well organized, communication clearly, and attentive to all visitors. The three must do Hanging Trmple, Wooden Pagoda and Yangun Grottoes were completed in one day:))★

This was a well organised trip. Before our travel date, Nancy got in touch and collected all the necessary info for making the ticket bookings. She also provided all necessary info. On the day of the trip, the driver welcomed us at the Datong South station (hispeed train station) exit with a nameplate. The car was clean and spacious. The driver was also excellent. He took us first to the Hanging Temple. He collected the tickets for the entrance and shuttle bus. This helped us to visit the amazing Hanging temple smoothly. After the visit and lunch from the Hanging Temple information centre (from which the shuttle buses operate), he took us to Yungang Grottoes which is around 1.5 hours away. After that visit, he dropped us back at the train station at around 6:30, so that we could take the high speed train to Beijing. Over all an excellent experience. Thanks to Nancy and team for the excellent organisation of the trip for me and family.★

The driver named Gui is incredibly cute, flexible, with a good and luxurious car. He will pick you up from any point you specify and at the time you specify. This is a great way to get to places far from the city such as the Hanging Monastery, Mount Heng and the Wooden Pagoda. I honestly didn't get to the pagoda in the end because I was on the mountain for too long and it was already too late, but the whole schedule depends solely on you. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit these places and others around Datong at a fair price. Suitable for both small groups/families and solo travelers.★

The driver was very kind. She arranged the pick-up time a day in advance and provided us with advice and recommendations. The car was also very clean. She thoughtfully provided a portable trash can and vomit bag to protect the children from motion sickness. The itinerary was very well planned. During peak season, the roads can be difficult to navigate, so she discussed whether to take the highway or the regular route with us, and the navigation system confirmed the decision. Traveling is all about peace of mind. No need to squeeze into buses or drive around looking for parking. I really enjoy chartering a car for a day trip.
