It's very convenient to use; you don't have to change anything. Friends bought a SIM card at the airport, but it ended up having poor reception and working, but the e-SIM worked flawlessly. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Upon arriving at my destination, I switched to eSim, but there was no signal. I had to restart my phone for it to work. During the trip, the signal was intermittent, sometimes good, sometimes bad.

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.


