Reviews: Unique Hue City Tour from Da Nang by Train via Hai Van Pass
Guest User2026-07-01
I really enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Marianna, explained everything clearly and interestingly. I don't speak English very well, so she explained some things through a translator. I'm very grateful to her for the tour.
Reviews: Hue City Private Tour Full Day

We participated in this tour as a Japanese family, requesting a Japanese-speaking guide. Our tour guide, Thi, provided excellent care and smooth communication. It was a very special and memorable experience to hear various stories on a private tour and learn about the current situation, history, and origins of the places we visited, things we wouldn't have known on our own. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to sightsee at their own pace and ask questions about things that interest them!

I was able to enjoy my later trip with the help of the good Van guide who explained everything in detail.
Reviews: Small Group · Depart from Hue city: Hue Imperial City Full-Day Guided Tour with lunch

Be ready for some walking and stairs. We really got to see all the highlight. I think this time of year (July) is a little hot, we did enjoy the AC van a lot. The Imperial city was so empressive and the Kings tombs. I also got to feed some Koi out of my hand.
Reviews: Hue Double-Decker Sightseeing Bus
Guest User2025-08-01
There were no major differences between the reservation information and the actual experience. I used it around the end of July, and since Hue is extremely hot at this time of year, visiting multiple locations on foot or by bicycle wasn't practical, so I was glad I was able to use it. -------・The location of the reception box was slightly different from the map, but the red box was noticeable near the landmark, so it wasn't a problem. ・At reception, I showed the printed Trip.com voucher (English and Japanese) and the screen, but the girls at the reception seemed confused. In the end, I used a translation app and they were able to find my ticket by assuming I had paid. ・You will be given a printed ticket receipt, which you will need for each ride. Be sure not to lose it. Since it was the first visit of the day and I had a 24-hour ticket, they wrote "9am" on it by hand. ・On board, the driver and one girl will escort you. The girl will ask "Where do you want to go?" and stop the bus for you. If you are not comfortable with English, use a translation app to communicate. ・The bus will go in the order of the stop route, but it will not stop if there are no passengers getting on or off. Whenever we approached my destination, a girl would tell me what time the next bus was and where I should be waiting. I was usually told to come back to this spot about an hour later. ◆Other: I wanted to get off at stop number 10 and go around, but I was initially advised to get off and on in order, so I did that. Also, there are free earphones near the boarding door, so you can connect them at your seat and listen to tourist information in Japanese. At the departure point, motorbike taxi drivers who are not affiliated with the company will talk to you as if they are. It's good for killing time, but be careful.
