The experience is absolutely incredible and the scenery is breathtaking. You must come prepared in case you have issues with altitud ( get altitud pills at the pharmacy, bring a rainjacket, sunscreen and wear sunblock). The walk itself is 8km and the hardest km is the last one.
I really enjoyed the experience and highly recommend!
