I went again, and it was still great. I missed Xiaolongtan the first time and kept thinking about going, but this time when I finally went, I found it was just a few animals and a specialty supermarket – finally, the place tour groups go! So, friends, you can totally skip Xiaolongtan. I went twice, and Qingyun Ladder is a must-see, not because the scenery is particularly beautiful, but because it's a landmark. Driving is no longer allowed in Dajiu Lake; you have to take public transportation. The Deer Park wasn't open either, but Dajiu Lake has planted many flowers, making good use of the original land. The downside is that you can't stay inside Dajiu Lake anymore, which reduces some of the fun. Try to avoid peak season. The first time I went was last August, and I stayed at Huiyuan Hotel, which cost over 400 yuan. This time, I stayed at Cailing Hotel, and three rooms were only 320 yuan. The owner said the price would increase on the 29th; our room, which cost 100 yuan, would go up to 580 yuan. So, it's best to avoid peak season if possible. My favorite attraction was Mirentang, on the way to Dajiu Lake. Tianyan, besides the bridge, doesn't have much else to offer. There were no swallows in Swallow Cave, nor were any swallow nests found, only moths and bats.
