Our guide was Ramiro, he speaks very well English and I could practice with him my Portuguese. He is a very good person and knows the Faial well, has a lot of interesting stories to tell. We were picked up at the location of our apartment, that was really nice because the day started with rain. We started our guide in time, together with 4 more people. I really liked the formal of a small group (we were just 6) and felt very comfortable in a group with great people. It was fun! During this day we explored the Faial island, the culture of people who live here and also shared some stories with each other about traveling and our experiences in Açores. I loved the capelinhos volcano - it was impressive and thanks to Ramiro for enough time to explore the location around. The great lunch is included in price. And the price is reasonable, it’s worth it 100%!

A beautiful ride through a stunning landscape. There was a lot of explanation and demonstration of what grows and is cultivated here. The horses are well cared for, and the stable, with its adjoining bar and restrooms, is very attractive. We received a very warm welcome.


