Reviews: Ice Cave Tour in the National Park of Vatnajökull

Big shout out to Fannar who was the absolute best guide!! He suggested fun poses and took some awesome photos of all the groups, sharing facts along the way that made the tour feel even more special and we even got to drive by an old glacier research facility on the way out. Highly recommend! The group size was small (10-12 people) which helped it to never feel crowded and we all had plenty of time to get our own photos. The blue of the cave was stunning and it was so cool learning about the history of the glacier and how the caves are made and change each season. The hike to the cave was short and relatively easy, even for those less experienced with snow/ice and it was mostly flat except for one small hill. The crampons were also very easy to use. Would 10000% do this again if given the chance!
