I booked a VIP tour this time, and the itinerary was very packed, with five or six boat trips in total, making it a fairly in-depth tour.
The Mekong River didn't look very clear; the water was quite yellow and covered with water hyacinths, but there was no unpleasant odor.
The island had many plants (various fruits) and animals (pythons, crocodiles, catfish, etc.), and the guide led the tour, providing very enthusiastic explanations. At the narrow section of the river where boats were manually rowed, the guide mentioned that a tip was expected for the rowers. Before the tour ended, the guide suggested that if we were satisfied with the trip, we could also tip him; I felt I had to give him something, otherwise I'd feel awkward.★

Great experience in Ho Chi Minh! The food selection and the amount of food per tasting was well balanced considering that we got the 12 tastings menu. The guides were very accommodating and lively. Although we were at the back of motorcycles zipping through the traffic jams f Ho Chi Minh, we felt safe the entire time. This is one great way to start an adventure in Vietnam. I will make sure to do this experience again when I’m back in Vietnam.★

A trip really comes down to the environment and the tour guide. Jimmy was an experienced and energetic guide and host which multiplied the entire experience make sure you give that guy a raise. The tunnels are a must and both an educational and exciting experience. I didn’t find the river as exciting however Jimmy and new friends made the experience worthwhile. Definitely go with this company and hope to get Jimmy!★

Very responsive company, sent a message one day before, the location was easy to find, small groups, the tour guide HARRY was amazing, knowledgeable and very polite. Afternoon could encounter some traffic jams and the street food could wait for long time at the place depends on what you’re ordering, recommend eat before meeting, but overall really good experience!
