It was a very good trip. There was a car for round-trip transportation, and the tour guide was there for the entire day. The bus ride from Hanoi's Old Quarter to Halong Bay took about three hours. I rarely sit in the back seat, but it was surprisingly comfortable. Along the way, I was able to see exotic scenery, and Halong Bay was also quite beautiful. It's just that after seeing so many mountains and rivers in China, I didn't find it as stunning. However, the cruise experience was very good. There was a bathing pool on the top deck, so if you have children, bring your swimsuits. It was a very enjoyable day! The tour guide spoke English, and some of the boat staff spoke Chinese! Highly recommended!

The itinerary was excellent. We picked up our passengers in the city before 8:30 AM and sailed to the port in Halong Bay. We stopped at a service area along the way and had lunch on board. We had three afternoon activities: swimming on the beach or hiking, exploring caves, and kayaking or rafting through caves. The afternoon tea at the end was too simple, and we arrived back in the city at around 9 PM, leaving us hungry. It would be great if the price could be increased and a buffet was offered.

I joined the Quang Phu Cau Incense Village, Hat Making & Lacquer Art Handicraft Tour and had such a wonderful experience. Mr. Viet, our bus driver, drove very safely and I felt secure at all times during the journey. Jay, our tour guide, was truly the best! She has a great sense of humor and constantly checked in to make sure all the tourists were doing well. What really stood out to me was how thoughtful she was towards solo travelers, she made sure we got to take photos too, which made the trip extra special. A good tour guide makes all the difference, especially when you’re traveling alone, and Jay absolutely did that. I would highly recommend this trip to any of my friends visiting Vietnam. It’s a great way to explore and feel well taken care of.


