I cannot recommend this tour enough, and a huge part of that is thanks to our incredible guide, Linh. From start to finish, she made the experience truly unforgettable. Linh’s knowledge of the area was outstanding. She shared fascinating historical facts, cultural insights, and local stories that you simply wouldn’t find in any guidebook. What really set her apart, though, was her warm and engaging personality. She made everyone in the group feel welcome, answered all our questions with patience and enthusiasm, and even gave us great recommendations for local food and hidden gems to explore afterward. The pacing of the tour was perfect – informative but never rushed – and Linh’s English was excellent, so we didn’t miss a single detail. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and that passion is contagious. If you’re booking this tour, do yourself a favour and ask for Linh. A comfortable bus. We stopped at some textile factory, where we paid almost half a million for water and a chocolate bar (there were no price tags anywhere).

If you want to explore Ha Long Bay without feeling rushed, the Tropical Day Cruise strikes the perfect balance between relaxation and adventure. ​The Vessel & Atmosphere: The boat is beautifully designed with comfortable sundecks that offer stunning 360-degree views of the karst limestone formations. ​The Itinerary: Perfect pace throughout the day. Trekking through the quiet caves, Kayaking and swimming near the secluded islets were definite highlights. ​Food & Hospitality: The buffet lunch was incredible—fresh local seafood, delicious vegetarian options, and great presentation.
