We booked a transfer from Hanoi to Halong. The day before, the driver sent us the car details and an estimated pickup time. We were picked up from the hotel and driven to the hotel. The driver arrived a little early. However, due to a force majeure incident caused by the hotel, we had to stay late and resolve the issue. Thanks to the driver for waiting for us!

Everything was wonderful, but the meal schedule was a bit off. Meals start at 11, right before departure. Then they clear the tables and put away all the food. It's inconvenient. We're not hungry at 11, but when we're hungry, there's no food. Otherwise, it's a wonderful itinerary without the crowds. It's not crowded; you're just in the company of the other passengers on your boat. It's okay, by the way. The prices on board are reasonable. I recommend it.

The trip was very well organized. We booked the tour the evening before the trip. We were picked up from our hotel by car in the morning (I don't know why, maybe they didn't fit us on the bus), but they upgraded our accommodations for free. All the staff on the Iris were wonderful – very attentive, friendly, and English-speaking. The ship itself was very cozy, clean, attractive, and comfortable! The lunch was delicious and varied. There weren't many guests on board, which made the trip even more comfortable! The locations we visited were beautiful! I recommend both the ship and the organizers! Thank you very much!

We booked our cruise with Taliya to Ha Long Bay and had a very good overall experience. The guide contacts you on WhatsApp the night before to confirm pickup details. We weren’t staying in the Hanoi Old Quarter, so we arranged pickup from a hotel there. Everything was clearly communicated and easy to manage. The bus ride from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay and back was comfortable. Our guide, Alan, kept us informed throughout the trip, explaining the schedule and activities clearly. On board, each family or couple was assigned a dedicated waiter, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The buffet had a good variety of seafood and other dishes. We travelled with our two children and they really enjoyed the experience. The bamboo boat ride was scenic and relaxing, and kayaking was also available. Just remember to keep some small cash for tips (boat rower, waiter, and driver). Also note that drinks is not included. Overall, a smooth, well-run cruise.
