It worked great in Japan, the internet was stable and fast. Google navigation worked perfectly without any problems. There was plenty of data left over if you weren't downloading movies. I was very impressed and will definitely use the service again. It made my Sapporo trip seamless.

At first, I was worried that I would have to complete the real-name verification to use this in Hong Kong. I might have just been lucky—I'm not sure if others had the same experience—or maybe it's because I activated it in Thailand first. When I arrived, I didn't have to verify my identity at all and could use it right away. The internet in Hong Kong was great! However, when I traveled to Macau, the signal dropped occasionally, and I only got LTE instead of 5G. Overall though, it worked really well and I highly recommend it.


