I only booked flights and hotels, and didn't visit any popular tourist attractions. It was great to be able to enjoy a less crowded holiday during Golden Week. Both flights were very punctual.

I was pleasantly surprised by both the music and the atmosphere during the show. Before it begins, there are a few mini-shows along the way to the performance area. They're simple, with girls singing and dressed in traditional attire, but very impactful. I'd read reviews that said it wasn't worth it, but I personally enjoyed it very much, and the use of lighting, the music that guided the scene, and the overall set design were spectacular. Highly recommended! The show is in Yangshuo, a bit far from the center, but renting a scooter makes it easy to get around. I spent just under €34 for the ticket, just to give you a rough idea of how much you'll spend. Enjoy!
