Many thanks to Nico and the crew for a wonderful morning trip where we got to see both pilot whales and dolphins. We were rescheduled from 2 days earlier, due to the poor weather, but re-arranging was straightforward and we got plenty of notice. On the day we did get to go out, the crew went out of the way to make sure that we felt at home, that we always had food and drink whenever we needed, and to help explain what we were seeing. We also appreciated that the boat never felt overcrowded and there was plenty of seating. Unlike some of the other operators which looked crammed full of passengers. So, yes you're paying more, but we thought that it was worth it. A bonus was that one of the crew went around to take photos not just of the sea life but also of us.

Good organization, no delays and no problems. I had minor problems with the getyourgide application itself, but fortunately the organizers were helpful. Departure and arrival were on time, the way back was more difficult due to the terrible traffic situation, for which I give all my respect to the driver for not losing his temper and getting us to the destination safely.

The team was fantastic, and Ronaldo in particular was an excellent guide. Reassuring, funny, attentive, and always in good spirits, he showed us some truly beautiful places in a perfect atmosphere. I rarely leave reviews, but this activity definitely deserved praise! We loved doing this activity as a couple with the whole group, and we sincerely recommend them to anyone who might be hesitating.

The tour was a complete success. Despite several warnings that there's no guarantee of spotting marine life in the open ocean, we were lucky and saw many pilot whales. The guides were in contact with other boats to ensure we had the safest possible experience. They were all incredibly friendly, kept us supplied with drinks the entire time, and spread a lot of cheer. Afterwards, we could even jump into the water in front of Cabo Girão – absolutely perfect! :)

Our Driver / Guide, Joao was superb ! Arrived on time and off we set. All locations visited were fantastic with Joao firstly getting us into great parking places and then giving us a full history of the location and what we were actually able to see. When we went 'off road', part of the track was closed for repairs but Joao was able to get us back on the track further down. At Porto Moniz Joao's suggested locations for lunch were spot on. Joao's driving was both safe and impressive !
