Reviews: Franz Josef Glacier helicopter tour | 25/35/40 minute | Snow landing
Guest User2026-10-25
I was very lucky to have a successful flight on my first trip to the South Island, and the weather was fantastic. However, the description on Trip.com was different from the actual flight time and content. The website said it included views of three glaciers and a 40-minute flight time including one snow landing. After explaining this to the staff at the local activities counter, they refunded our money. The helicopter was very cramped with six people, but they did give us a complimentary photo of us on the snow helicopter after the flight.Trip.com picks
