Jerry was a good tour guide. Wine was spectacular however the small plates of food could have been better. We visited three stops. Not alot of walking and not a tour to select if you are trying to experience the village. Tour was delayed one hour with little notice, otherwise I would have rated a 4.5

We took the Etna Tribe tour, guided by Nando, who was simply excellent! He explained the geology very clearly, from soil formation to the region's enormous agricultural potential. We interacted with local producers and enjoyed a delicious tasting of wines, olive oil, liqueurs, and fruit jams, all rich in flavor. We also stopped at a cave, where we got to see the effects of an ancient eruption up close. An incredible experience, very well organized. Thanks to Nando for his professionalism and dedication!

Such an amazing experience, was truly breathtaking! Our guide, Ricardo, was so knowledgeable of the area and taught us about the different plants, trees and rocks, you could really feel his passion for the local area. The views were incredible and you really get to experience the true beauty of mt Etna. We also stopped to visit an old lava cave which was fantastic. The hike was tough, with unforgiving multiple terrains and very steep up and down hill climbs, however they provide you with walking boots and sticks if needed. Ricardo also checked on me and the group throughout the hike. We finished with a lovely lunch and tried two local wines with a stunning view of the mountain. I can’t thank Ricardo enough for making this experience. Would highly recommend.

It was fantastic! Fun, beautiful views - Federico and Karim were excellent.! We were uncertain of the meeting place when we arrived a bit early, but it was as directions indicated.


