Worth a trip. At dock, porters help with luggage. On board they offered an upgrade to deck 3, and VIP dining. We accepted both, and glad we did!. First evening all dined together in lower deck dining area. Buffet style & good, however compete with chinese, get in line or wait. We waited!. From next morning we ate upstairs, buffet & fantastic. A bit limited if vegetarian - best to inform before if you want tofu for example. Beds comfortable, room spacious with balcony. Excursions, umbrella, water & insect repellant. Day 1 you can bus or walk to temple site- along riverbank only 5 minutes. Only 365 steps up to temple! Not too taxing. Day 2 excursion to Dam - Def need the bus. Not much information given, but saved for a rainy afternoon back home from u tube. Def give luggage to be taken on to main information centre. you dont want to have to carry it around site.Take photo of ticket! We dropped ours!Trip.com picks
