Reviews: Megalithic & Medieval tour on a sidecar Évora
Guest User2025-10-28
It was amazing! Almost once in a lifetime possibility to experience a ride in such a vehicle, through the beauties and mysteries of Evora and its surroundings. The guide has a huge knowledge of history, is educated in that sphere, and knows how to present it. While we drive, he speaks and a passenger hears it through connected headphones under the helmet and follows the story while looking at the gorgeous cork trees. Then we stop at the important locations where he explains everything. He also takes lovely photos of you a few times so you have it as a memory, and you don't have to worry if you have that perfect shot. Much recommended!

Our trip to Évora and Monsaraz with Suzanna as our guide was amazing! She was not only a great driver but also shared fascinating historical information about the sights, like the Roman Temple and the Chapel of Bones in Évora. My family and I, along with another tourist, felt completely comfortable as she guided us through these beautiful locations. Suzanna also gave us a great recommendation for lunch, where we enjoyed delicious local dishes in a cozy spot. Overall, it was a fantastic day, and I’d highly recommend her tour to anyone visiting the area!

Hidden alleyways far from the tourists. And the excellent guide Sofia with her French-Maltese name. She tells me about her troubled childhood under the dictator Salazar and the suffering of a people who no longer had access to culture or freedom of expression.

The tour exceeded our expectations! As the other reviews have said, Elsa is highly knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the area and of the world. She showed us many details in the buildings and locations we visited that we would not have known about. We enjoyed her wry sense of humor. We appreciate her view of the role of women in in the history.
