Tiger Leaping Gorge is a must if you are in the Lijiang area. We took a small tour that did not involve any hike to the Black Dragon Pool - just to the Gorge. The ride in itself to Shangrila is scenic and enjoyable and of course, the majestic gorge area is unbelievable despite the crowd. Our driver was a safe driver and kind. He tried his best to help us out. It was a Chinese tour, and we do not speak nor understand Mandarin. Between the tour operator and the driver, we managed. The both make an extra special effort, thank you.
