With one card, you can shop and travel conveniently. You can deposit Korean won directly or deposit other currencies (16 currencies supported) and exchange them directly for Korean won. While the exchange rate is slightly lower than at exchange shops in Myeongdong, it's better than using a credit card. You can also get rewards when shopping. However, there are a few things to keep in mind: 1) You can pick up the card at machines at Incheon International Airport. While you can top up your card, you can't withdraw cash. Also, be aware of the card's pickup times (e.g., the CU convenience store on the first floor of Terminal 2 opens at 7 a.m.). 2) Daily foreign currency top-up limit: 2,000,000 KRW. 3) Top up your T-money account separately; excessive top-up is not recommended. 4) Use the Wowpass app to check your card balance and redeem coupons. 5) Do not use the card if there are no Wowpass machines within your travel area. 6) The card is valid for 6 years, so plan your top-up amounts carefully to avoid refund fees.
