The mountain is amazing. You get an option to ride a horse up and down but there are parts where you have to hike up and down. We took the horse as we had a hard time breathing due to the elevation and cold wind. It is extra to go to the red valley. The food up there was also very good.★

It was a long tiring day of around 12 hours.
Our guide, Nayda, was informative and amusing.
She was also very encouraging on the walk to the Rainbow Mountain.
Little did we know that we would be walking up to 5 km above sea level !
Definitely a case of slow and steady winning the race.
Plenty of snacks and water supplied as well as a very nice lunch after the walk.
Would definitely recommend the excursion.
Be aware that it does get a little breathless as you go unless you are well acclimatised.
If you are up for the challenge, and it is one, then go for it !★
