I can't recommend Cuenca and this tour company enough. They picked us up at the Guayaquil airport, took us on an artisanal tour of the surrounding community, organized a cooking tour with a local woman who hosted us for a lunch we cooked and a cocoa tour on the way back to the airport. Our main guide Sebastian was a wealth of local knowledge and customs of both Ecuador and Cuenca specifically. Steven, our driver, perfectly navigated the winding roads in fog and rain. I'm so happy to have had a driver as you don't need a car in the city. Javier, the owner was always prompt and allowed us to change our itinerary to better fit our interests. I definitely will be back in Cuenca as it's a beautiful mountain town that's extremely safe and fun. Plus the prices of everything are mostly half what they are in America. Language was never a barrier. I look forward to hiking Cajas National Park next time. It's breathtaking! Thanks to the crew for the memories.★

We enjoyed our historic tour of old Cuenca Panama hat factory with Wilson as our guide who was very knowledgeable and helpful. The highlight of my trip was watching a demonstration of the Panama hat making process and appreciating the Romanesque , Gothic and Renaissance styles with three domes protruding from the roof of the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. ★

Luis is the best tour guide. He's well informed about the history of Cuenca and Ecuador as a whole. The tour is also perfect for a solo traveller... He recommended dishes, and my oh my. I enjoyed trying out new cuisine. The most memorable part of the tour was when we went to the museum, and learning about the people that recycles waste. I have so much respect to all the people that work so hard to keep our environment safe yet they are not well appreciated. They have no salaries too... but continue to keep Cuenca safe. I was so touched about their journey. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. Not forgetting the architecture - spectacular. I would def do this again★

Flavia was very professional and knowledgeable!! She answered every question that I peppered her with, I am a curious person and asked copious amounts of questions about flora etc. The two hikes were great, we especially loved the higher altitude hike even though my lungs did not like it. We enjoyed being with Flavia and invited her to Canada to stay with us, she is a great tour guide and a great person and we loved the Andean Highlands!!!
