Really so beautiful. Rainbow mountain is pretty, but the surrounding area like red valley really makes this special. Did have a little confusion with pre booking the horse as well. I recommend booking a tour that doesn’t include the horse, and just pay in person. Alfredo supported us, and even offered someone oxygen when they weren’t feeling well. We added red valley last minute and it was so worth it. Food was good too.★

I really liked our guide, Christian. He was very attentive to the group, always ensuring that no one was left behind and respecting everyone's pace. Breakfast and lunch were excellent. Both meals included a buffet with a wide variety of food and drinks. The restaurant was the same for both meals, a very quiet and clean place with a clean bathroom with toilet paper and water for washing hands. The transportation was good, with only one minor inconvenience: a raised section of floor in the passenger seat next to the window. Vinicunca mountain is quite far from Cusco, a 4-hour drive. On the way there, after a 2-hour drive, we had breakfast. On the way back, after a 2-hour drive, we had lunch. It was a good division of time because that way you don't have a full stomach before climbing the mountain and you don't get hungry before returning to Cusco. The mountain is beautiful but challenging; you have to be patient and follow your own pace. But it's well worth it.★
