The process was simpler than I expected: after payment, I immediately received a QR code via email, and the Trip.com app clearly explained how to add the profile to my iPhone. The speed was quite comfortable, sufficient for both maps and calls in messaging apps. The only thing is, it's best to activate it in advance.
