Where do I begin...I must start by hyping up my guide, Renan! He's the man for sure!
He's such a big-hearted, full of life, kind, animated...SUPER SMART guy! He's good people!
I am incredibly inquisitive in an informative kind of way and he was able to answer my queries or have thoughtful ideas/opinions on the matter(s).
I went on this tour Day 1 of my 4 night stay and it provided a great historical foundation that I was able to recall throughout my stay.
My time with Renan left a lasting impression on me. I wish I could return the favor and show him around my city back home!

We had a fantastic private tour with João Fiandeiro exploring the Templar Castle and Convent of the Order of Christ in Tomat. He is very knowledgeable about the Templars, the site, the symbolism, the history, and he was very good at answering our questions. We enjoyed it immensely and were able to expand our education on the subject. João Is definitely an authority on this subject. Highly recommended!★

Nelson was an OUTSTANDING guide. He arrived early and his van was very clean and comfortable. He is extremely knowledgeable about Fatima and the entire story of Our Lady of the Rosary. His attention to detail of the entire narrative was fantastic. He took us first to Fatima to see the shepherd children’s homes and explained in great detail the living conditions in 1916/17. We saw the two spots the Angle of Peace appeared and one of the spots where the apparition of Mary occurred. We then traveled to the Church in Fatima (his parish) and learned important details about the church and saw the baptismal fount of the shepherd children. We then traveled to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary. He explained all the details both inside and outside of the Basilica. We then discussed the tree the shepherd children used to wait for Mary to appear and saw the Chapel of the Apparitions. Our final stop was the modern Basilica of the Trinity. Again, Nelson was very knowledgeable about the architectural designs and interesting details of the basilica. He provided us with a very complete and fact filled tour of the sites and story of Fatima. This was the best, most complete tour of the entire Fatima experience. Nelson gets our highest recommendation.★

Felipe took us round this wonderful and fascinating University, one of the oldest in Europe ,and to the old part of this very old and beautiful Portuguese city, the former capital before Lisbon,He was very knowledgable having studied at the university himself and an excellent guide. It was great to have a one to one tour with Filipe, he took myself and my husband round the entire site including the university library and Royal Palace.we then went down into ancient city to get some history and Visit the Igresa de Santa Cruz to finish. A wonderful and memorable experience.
