My trip to Xi'an was wonderful. This city has a long history (1.5 million BC – Tang Dynasty), the people are very kind, the food is delicious, and the cost of living is relatively low, although tourist attractions have high ticket prices. This trip coincided with an anti-Japanese protest in Xi'an. Although the methods used to vandalize Japanese cars and shops were inappropriate, it truly inspired national pride.
